Discipleship Classes

Discipleship at CCU (Christ Church Uganda) refers to the process of growing and maturing as a follower of Jesus Christ. It involves intentional and ongoing efforts to deepen one’s relationship with God, understand and apply His Word, and live out the teachings of Jesus in everyday life. Discipleship is a key aspect of CCU’s mission and is considered essential for spiritual growth and transformation.

At CCU, discipleship is facilitated through various programs, resources, and opportunities aimed at equipping individuals to become fully
devoted followers of Christ.

What discipleship is composed of at CCU

  • Discipleship Classes: CCU offers a discipleship class where individuals can receive foundational teaching on core Christian beliefs, principles, and practices. This class provides a solid understanding of the Bible, Christian doctrine, and practical guidance for living out one’s faith.

  • Community Engagement: Discipleship at CCU involves active participation in the church community, including attending regular worship gatherings, joining small groups, engaging in prayer meetings, and serving in various ministries and outreach initiatives. These community engagements provide opportunities for fellowship, accountability, and mutual support in the discipleship journey.
