Steven Sebyala

Evangelist Steven Sebyala is an inspiring church founder and leader, with a deep conviction to win souls for Jesus. Born and raised in Kampala, Uganda, he started preaching one-on-one and organizing home fellowships as he witnessed the number of people being saved increasing.

Alongside his passion for evangelism, Steven founded Christ’s Church Uganda (formerly Calvary Foundation Ministry), a place of worship, spiritual growth, and community for believers. He is dedicated to spreading the gospel and building a strong church community.

He is married to Sarah Sebyala, with whom God has blessed with children.Steven’s ministry extends beyond preaching and teaching. He and his wife, Sara, have opened their hearts and home to children in need. This act of love exemplifies their deep faith and commitment to serving others.

In addition to founding the church, Steven established Africa Harvest Mission, focused on reaching the lost in Africa. Through regional outreaches and seminars, he spreads the message of Jesus Christ and equips local pastors for effective ministry.

Steven’s overarching vision is to lift up Jesus and reach 1 billion people by 2050. As a church founder and leader, his passion, strength, and unwavering commitment inspire many to embrace faith and experience the transformative power of God’s love.

Fred Mugambwa

Fred Mugambwa is a highly esteemed Lead Pastor at Christ Church Uganda, fulfilling several significant roles within the Christian community. In addition to his pastoral duties, he serves as the Vice Chairman of Africa Harvest Mission and is one of the directors of Family Broadcasting Network. Pastor Fred’s influence extends beyond the confines of a single church, as he acts as the overseer of all Christ Church Uganda churches.

His journey of faith began in 1986 when he made a life-changing decision to accept Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior. Despite facing various storms and challenges throughout his life, Pastor Fred has never regretted taking that bold step of faith. His unwavering commitment to his relationship with God is evident in his leadership and ministry.

Pastor Fred is happily married to Elizabeth, and together, they have been blessed with children and precious grandchildren. His family is a testimony of God’s faithfulness and blessings in his life.

Passionate about advancing the Kingdom of God, Pastor Fred is dedicated to drawing many people to God through the powerful message of the gospel of Jesus Christ. He firmly believes in the transformative power of the gospel and actively shares it with others, leading them to a personal relationship with God.

At Christ Church Uganda, Pastor Fred feels truly blessed to be surrounded by men and women of exceptional faith, love, and commitment to serving the Kingdom. The collective devotion and service of the church community inspire and encourage him in his own ministry.

Through his leadership and unwavering dedication to his calling, Pastor Fred Mugambwa continues to make a profound impact on the lives of countless individuals, leading them closer to God and helping them experience the transformative power of the gospel.

Pastor Fred is convinced that once individuals visit Christ Church Uganda, they will experience an overwhelming sense of love and warmth from everyone they encounter. The church’s core values of WINNING souls for Christ, TRAINING disciples, and SENDING believers out to impact the world reflect Pastor Fred’s deep passion for the Kingdom of God.

Andrew Malinga

Pastor Andrew Malinga is an esteemed associate pastor at CCU (Christ’s Church Uganda) and holds a significant role as one of the church administrators. His journey of faith began in 1990 when he had a life-changing encounter with Jesus Christ and became born again. In 1992, he joined Calvary Temple, which is now known as Christ’s Church Uganda, initially as a congregant.

As time passed, Pastor Andrew felt a divine calling from God to step into ministry. Responding to this call, he dedicated himself to serving God and His people. His loyalty to God and his commitment to Christ’s Church Uganda have played a vital role in the church’s growth and progress. Through his steadfastness, the church has been able to take bold steps forward and make significant strides in its mission and ministry.

Pastor Andrew is happily married to Beatrice Malinga, and together, they have been blessed with children. The support and partnership of his wife have been instrumental in his journey of ministry and service.

As an associate pastor and church administrator, Pastor Andrew carries the responsibility of overseeing various aspects of the church’s operations and welfare. His dedication and commitment to the well-being of the church community are highly regarded. He diligently works to ensure that the church functions smoothly and that the needs of the congregation are met.

Joy Basasibwaki

Pastor Joy Basasibwaki is a respected associate pastor at CCU (Christ Church Uganda). Her journey of faith began in 1986 when she made the life-altering decision to surrender her life to Jesus Christ. Shortly after her conversion, she joined the ministry of Calvary Temple, which is now known as Christ Church Uganda.

Pastor Joy had the privilege of being married to the late Basasibwaki. Although he is no longer with her.
Within the church, Pastor Joy plays a pivotal role as the leader of the women’s ministry at CCU since 1998, she has been entrusted with the responsibility of guiding and shepherding the women within the church community. Her leadership and dedication have been a tremendous blessing to the women she leads.
Through her ministry, she has impacted the lives of countless women, providing guidance, support, and spiritual nourishment. Pastor Joy’s leadership within the women’s ministry reflects her deep understanding of the unique challenges and joys that women face in their faith journeys. She creates a nurturing and supportive environment where women can grow spiritually, develop their gifts, and find encouragement in their walk with God.

Lumumba Patrick

Pastor Lumumba Patrick serves as an associate pastor at Christ’s Church Uganda, where he carries out several crucial responsibilities. His primary role involves training new disciples and church leaders, equipping them with the necessary knowledge and skills to serve in their respective capacities. Additionally, Pastor Lumumba dedicates himself to conducting counseling sessions for both married and unmarried individuals, providing them with guidance, support, and spiritual counsel.

Pastor Lumumba’s journey in Christ’s Church Uganda began in 2001 when he attended a transformative crusade led by Ps. Steven Sebyala. The compelling and life-changing gospel messages preached during that event profoundly impacted him, leading him to embrace a life of faith and surrender to God. Inspired by the teachings of Pastor Billy and Pastor Elijah, who imparted their wisdom and knowledge at the Africa Harvest School of Ministry, Pastor Lumumba made the decision to join the church’s ministry, initially serving as an usher.

Through God’s divine guidance and Pastor Lumumba’s dedication, he steadily rose through the ranks within the church. Recognizing his commitment and passion for serving God’s people, he was promoted to the esteemed position of chief usher. Over time, Pastor Lumumba’s devotion to God and his unwavering faith led him to be ordained as a Pastor. Currently, he serves in an office dedicated to the sole purpose of serving God and ministering to His flock.

Throughout his ministry, Pastor Lumumba has cultivated valuable connections with fellow believers, enabling him to contribute to the growth and expansion of the church community. In his personal journey, he has experienced significant spiritual growth, deepening his relationship with God and further honing his abilities as a spiritual leader. Pastor Lumumba’s passion for mentoring and nurturing junior pastors has allowed him to sow the seed of Christ into the lives of upcoming leaders, empowering them to effectively carry out their own ministries.

Outside of his ministerial endeavors, Pastor Lumumba is happily married to Angella Lumumba. Together, they have been abundantly blessed with wonderful children who bring joy and fulfillment to their lives.

Overall, Pastor Lumumba’s commitment to serving God, his dedication to training disciples and church leaders, and his compassionate counseling efforts reflect his deep love for Christ and his genuine desire to impact the lives of others positively.
